Spending many years in the darkroom messing with black and white chemicals and playing around with a color enlarger makes me appreciate editing. And a deep understanding of how to work with editing software to get a film look to my digital photos. After getting the base editing done I'm done able to bring photos into Lightroom if needed to do fine-tuning touchups. Most importantly. Getting the processing done on the images so you can pick your favorite and we can then move forward to the fine-tuning. In most cases fine-tuning it is not necessary.
Color editing
Camera Raw
Camera is exactly what it sounds like it is straight out of the camera with no edits. I do not give my client the wrong images because it does not represent my brand.
Pink Glow
The pink glow is a low contrast image allowing the sunset to naturally color the image. So it's like a walking through a pink glow or hays of the sunsets. It can have a ethereal feel or dream light atmosphere.
Light & Airy
Are light & airy edits. Are more based on a high key style of editing allowing for a bright look to the image. With the darks and shadows lifted so it's not too heavy.
Dark & Moody
When it comes to dark moody. We base our edit style off of a low-key rendition. With strong contrast and I've been in the colors just a bit teacher you are not and you get out.
Black & White editing
Dreamy
This will be a low contrast style black and white.. Photos take on the appearance of a matte finish
Classic
The classic black-and-white was the most likely what you would see coming out of a dark room. With the balance of the Zone System. Ultimate white is a zero ultimate black is 10 the image will not reach zero or 10 in total range. Giving you details in your whites and blacks.
Film Noir
Film Noir has captivated audiences with its deliberate use of the black and white to highlight the rising emotions of the masses.
With film you can play around with the ISO feature adding film grain to the image 50 ISO soft no grain to 400 ISO adding medium grain. After ISO 400 I recommend not adding any more green than that because it can look very greedy and unflattering for portraits.
Dramatic
Designed to help you achieve rich blacks and bright whites for dramatic. These is a high contrast editing style looks good with a 400 ISO grain to it.
