About Kris

I started photographing in 1998 working with black-and-white film and playing in the darkroom. When it was time to go to college, I started with a business marketing and transitioned to a photography degree. I always knew I wanted to photograph portraits and weddings, so I customized my classes to specialize in those types of photography.

I won multiple awards for my portraiture and being published for my wedding photography. I landed the cover of Central Texas Wedding Guide magazine. This has been my goal since I started photographing professionally.

My favorite thing about photographing weddings and doing portraiture is capturing the client's story.

As a lead wedding photographer, my duties are to journalistically capturing brides’ getting ready, photographing all of your details, first look, the pre-formal, and set up in their group pose. Documenting the ceremony, and how it all unfolds without interruptions. Photographing formal portraits of your family, the entire wedding party, and the bride & groom portraits. Then finally, capture that excitement and joy of your reception and grand exit.

Family photography is all about capturing the genuine love and affection that family members share. When I approach a family session, my goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where true emotions can shine through. I use the concept of “show me love and affection” to guide my direction, encouraging families to interact naturally and express their bonds in a candid way. By gently guiding them into different scenarios, I can capture authentic moments and real connections, resulting in beautiful, heartfelt images that tell the unique story of each family.
